Before you begin:

Firstly, you will need to get your device talking to vMaps, so please perform the following steps:

1) E-mail a list of your device IMEI numbers, along with a short name and description for each, to accounts@geodesy.co.za. We will then provision these onto our system and issue you with a username and password.

2) Configure your devices to send SBD emails to sbd@geodesy.co.za

3) Turn on your SBD Voyager, You are good to go!

How to use vMaps:

Navigate to vMaps using the Menu bar on geodesy.co.a. Enter your issued credentials when the application has completed loading

Once you are successfully authenticated, your linked devices will appear on the right hand panel

Select the devices you would like to view, then press "Show Selected Devices". You can select, one all, or specific devices by using "<shift> click " or "<.ctrl> click" selection

A report will appear indicating number of fixes found for the selected devices

Zoom in and out using the mouse wheel, drag map using left click. Click on markers to get more information on specific fixes - the relates data for the fix will appear on the top left Panel

You can also filter results by date and time - Select a From and To Date, enter your desired From and To times in 24h format, then press "Apply Date Filter"

Change Map Providers and other settings in the Settings area. Some features listed are not yet available in the beta release
